I will never get tired to say that your passions will take you to the highest mountains, the deepest oceans and the craziest places. They will carry you all the way. They will allow you to live your dreams.
In 2006 I had a dream. I wanted to swim with whales in the open sea. I had been observing them for 10 years in every migration, photographing them, learning about their behaviour. I was ready, but Australia wasn't so I kept nurturing my dream until in 2016, 10 years later, the first legal swims with humpback whales were open and I took I leap of faith with GoPro. The GoPro Fantasia vídeo inspired me reach out to them to hopefully start a connection with their brand.
Believe it or not, it only took one person behind @goproanz at that time to connect with my dream and trust my process. If you are reading this, you know who you are; I'm going to be forever grateful for you Ed. We jumped on a call and the rest is history. I didn't swim with whales in 2016 but I did swim with them many times after, amongst other smart, curious and insanely extraordinaire species that I love and respect.
Being part of the GoPro Family has opened so many doors for me. From visiting their HQ in California, meeting other GoPro creators in several activations, traveling the middle of the world on board of an old refurbished train through Los Andes, visiting a few remote Islands of the Pacific, diving deep and shallow in two of the 7 wonders of the world: Galapagos Islands and The Great Barrier Reef, observing pregnant whale sharks off season, floating in remote reefs with minke whales and getting caught in the middle of a mantas feeding frenzy.
I've been lucky to get featured dozens of times on their social platforms, received two GoPro Awards and on top of that, I get to test their cameras and be part of their incredible journey developing the most versatile and advanced action camera in the world.
