Since I came to live in Australia I wanted to swim with humpback whales after seeing the #GoPro documentary “Fantasea” with Allan Watts as a narrator... and I did! But I travelled far to do so a few years ago; it was a sharp, short trip to the Kingdom of Tonga that left me with the desire of experiencing something more intimate and wild..
This year I had the chance to go out to the open sea to observe whales with Tweed Gold Coast Dive Charters and swim with a pod of very active humpback whales and a mum with her calf right here at home on the Gold Coast!
It was the most incredible, mesmerising, exhilarating experience I’ve had in the ocean and one I will certainly never forget. I have written about it on Instagram if you want to hear more and watch a video I did. 💙🙏🏻🐋
This is by far the most special collaboration I have done with a business and I cannot recommend it any higher; if you love whales, jump on board with the legends at Tweed Gold Coast Dive Charters!
